Centro Interdipartimentale Servizi Automazione Discipline Umanistiche

CISADU was constituted in 1991 replacing a prior Computer Service of the Faculty of "Lettere e Filosofia". The purpose was to place the equipment of the Center at disposal of the related Departments.
The aims of the CISADU are:

• development of research projects, based on computer analysis;
• access to the networks;
• training courses with computer aid;
• Software applications courses addressed to the Faculty's staff;
• support of IASU course;
• text formatting and printing.

The CISADU has a library specifically devoted to computer science. Data processing and applications in human sciences are the main topics of the library.

Software and programming languages for Ms-Dos and Unix environment are available.

The Center is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays.
